A Pretty, Pink, (functional) Organizing System

I'm such a sucker for pretty colors and patterns...but I have to say that beyond the aesthetic appeal of these products, I bought them in hopes of keeping my lists and calendars a tiny bit more streamlined.  AND- not only do they look great around my house, they're working! I bought a notebook and a wall calendar from Target from a new line of products by Mead called Organizeher, geared at women who juggle multiple tasks and schedules.  Ok, what woman out there doesn't do that???

So, the notebook- I won't lie- I bought it mostly because it's pretty.  But I really like how there's a little column on the side where you can keep a short grocery list, or list of stops along your way on errand running day.  I've also used it for a housekeeping task list.  Then I've been using the bulk of the page for keeping track of the progress on several of the larger projects that I've been working on, and planning out different aspects of my day if it involves lots of "gear switching." I mean, what day doesn't involve gear switching? Mom, wife, fitness instructor, blogger, goal setter, dreamer, writer, designer, friend, neighbor, personal chef, maid, chauffeur...ok some of those are self imposed titles..but I'm sure you can relate :) Anyway, I'm a fan of the notebook and I think it works well to keep me on task on a variety of tasks.

The Calendar is one of my favorite additions to our refrigerator.  Like I said, the Organizeher line was designed to appeal to women that juggle the schedules of multiple people.  So, like when your week involves keeping track of school field trips, dance classes, Tball games, evening meetings, birthday parties, deadlines, on and on and on...this helps you figure out who's supposed to be where and when.  I was previously color coding our old calendar (which worked pretty well until I ran out of room!)- so I love this with its separate row for each person you need to keep track of.  I should also tell you that I caught my hubby rip off one of the pages and use it to plan out his week at work. Instead of having a row for each household member, he had different rows for different projects and team members at work. It appeals to everyone! (but moreso to me because it's pink).

As not to make this post sound like an infomercial, or like I work for Mead (although if anyone out there working for a stationary company wants my help designing list making tools, I'm open to that!!!), let's share the love for some other brands.  Tell me what's your favorite way to keep track of everything in your busy week?
